Kundalini Yoga Course

divider yoga teacher training course
Kundalini Yoga , India contains the practices through which one can prepare himself for the awakening of the chakras. These practices include some yoga postures, pranayama, Kundalini kriyas, hands gestures (mudras) and energy locks or bandhas. In the kundalini yoga course, the focus is given on the kundalini kriyas, advanced breathing practices (pranayama) and bandhas (energy locks). Yoga asana are also the part of kundalini yoga ttc, in kundalini asana the approach is to keep the chakras (energy centres) in mind. And during asana practice there should be focus on the flow of energy through different energy centres via energy channels which are known as ‘Nadis’. As Kundalini Yoga is an intensive program so in first week, we try to prepare the students for advanced practice by making them practice the basic asana and kriyas for specific chakras and later on when the students are prepared, we bring them to the advanced level of practices by giving them the proper combination of kriyas and locks during the asana practice. We have both 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh which is a very basic course and 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Rishikesh for beginner to intermediate level of practitioners.

200 Hour Kundalini YTTC

The 200 Hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India offered by Astro Yoga Retreat is a basic as well as advanced course of kundalini yoga. The first week of the course is basic and the rest of the course is advanced. This course follows all the guidelines of Yoga Alliance USA.

Later, students will learn and practice to apply different practices together like which energy lock should apply in which yoga posture. That’s why after 1 week, practices become more advanced for which more strength and awareness is required. In this way students start becoming aware of energy flow or the flow of prana in the body and start getting more control over prana. This flow of prana relates with the pranamaya kosha of body which is one of the five sheaths of human body.

At the completion of the course, you will be provided with the universally valid RYT certificate from Yoga Alliance USA. With this RYT certificate one can practice and teach kundalini yoga practices anywhere in the world.
